10-Day Great Migration, Cultural Immersion & Alkaline Lakes Safari

Day 1: Arrival & Pick up from Airport Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) and transfer to your accommodation in Arusha for a gentle introduction to East Africa.

Day 2: Arusha to Lake Natron Drive along the Rift Valley escarpment to Lake Natron, an alkaline soda lake known as the primary breeding ground for lesser flamingos and situated at the base of the active volcano Ol Doinyo Lengai.

Day 3: Lake Natron to Northern Serengeti Journey into the vast plains of the Serengeti, transitioning from the rugged Natron landscape to endless grasslands in search of the Great Migration herds.

Day 4 & 5: Serengeti National Park Exploration Spend two full days on extensive game drives tracking lions, cheetahs, leopards, and elephants across the iconic savanna.

Day 6: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater Depart the Serengeti for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, arriving at the crater rim to witness the breathtaking panorama of this natural amphitheater.

Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater to Lake Eyasi Descend into the crater for wildlife viewing before driving to the arid savanna of Lake Eyasi to visit the Hadzabe hunter-gatherer tribe.

Day 8: Lake Eyasi to Arusha Observe traditional skills and cultural practices with local tribes before returning to Arusha, stopping at a local market for souvenirs along the way.

Day 9: Kilimanjaro Foothills Excursion Trade the plains for the slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro to visit Materuni Waterfalls and experience traditional Chagga coffee processing.
