Itinerary Details

  • Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park Depart from Arusha for a full day in Tarangire, a park distinguished by its giant baobab trees and some of the largest elephant populations in Africa. Enjoy a game drive along the Tarangire River, a vital water source where lions, leopards, and giraffes frequently gather. Overnight at a comfortable lodge or tented camp near the park.

  • Day 2: Tarangire to Serengeti National Park Journey into the legendary Serengeti, a vast ecosystem world-famous for its big cats and the Great Migration. Spend the afternoon exploring the open grasslands, searching for predators lounging under acacia trees and herds of gazelles. Your accommodation is strategically located within the park to keep you close to the wildlife action.

  • Day 3: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater Begin with a final morning game drive in the Serengeti before traveling to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage site and a natural amphitheater hosting roughly 30,000 animals. This is your best opportunity to see the rare black rhino alongside lions, buffalo, and flamingos in one afternoon. Overnight near the crater rim.

  • Day 4: Departure to Arusha Enjoy breakfast with a view of the crater before driving back to Arusha. Depending on your schedule, you may have time to explore local markets or shop for souvenirs before your departure.
